You HAVE to see the before picture of this kitchen! It's a classic situation.....your new (old) house comes with a brand new kitchen, but the same ugly maple cabinets as everyone else. Boringgggg! You're on a budget and you want to be 'green', so instead of trashing those maple uglies, you re-vamp them into something new! I plan on doing this to my kitchen (when we get a house). Reusing those ugly kitchen cabinets...

I just revamped my kitchen cabinets like this. I bought my first place in Aug and the first thing to go was the old kitchen flooring and the cabinets. We cleaned and stripped them before repainting. We also laid 12x12 tiles. Those 2 simple things gave the kitchen a completely different look!
