Solterra - A Touch of Europe

My husband recently had his high school reunion at Solterra, and I was blown away by the character exploding through this community. Nestled on the edge of Morrison and Lakewood, this planned community is surrounded by 5,000 acres of parkland and in arms reach of Red Rocks. I wasn't able to tour the housing community, but the Retreat (or the clubhouse) speaks for itself. Filled with terraced patios, numerous entertaining ares, a gourmet kitchen, and an amazing pool this clubhouse has it all.

I was fortunate enough to have an anonymous reader lead me to HRI Design who designed Solterra. I was elated to see this beautiful place on their portfolio page, and even more elated that I am able to share it with everyone else!

Solterra's Retreat is available to rent out for a very small fee, and SOOOOoooo worth it. It's one of those places you walk into and immediately feel at home and want to pet every pillow and chair. Well... at least I did.

That is such a beautiful area! The rooms look very warm and cozy and look like they would be great to sit by the fire after a day of skiing.

Would this be a good place to have a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner?

A fabulous place! All of the girls talked about that while we were there. The views were great, they had an area with a pergola that faced West, and would be a great place to hold the ceremony. I would shoot for a warm month though so you can open the rooms to the outdoors. Also check out the Garden of the Gods Club in the Springs or Sanctuary in Castle Rock... they are similar.

Okay, but you still have to check out the black and white Miraval model they designed in Stapleton! Right up your alley :^)

Hey Kelly,

So crazy, I was looking for pictures to include for our rehearsal dinner invitations and found this blog! I am SO excited that we get to use Solterra as our rehearsal dinner location... it is BEAUTIFUL! I saw some pictures from when A-West had their reunion there and looked into it! It is so awesome! Anyhow, hope all is well!
