One Sofa... Two Different Styles

It's amazing how an old sofa can transform with a little paint and fabric.

I was cruising through a favorite blog 'Life in the Fun Lane' and she was talking about her love of slip covered antique sofas. Her inspiration is from this book cover...

...and she plans to turn this sofa (from craigslist) into the beauty above. I have no doubt she will do an amazing job. (She always posts her finished projects... so keep your eye out!)

I was browsing through Etsy tonight and stopped by Spruce Home to see what new items they had. I immediately spotted this lady and it reminded me of Holly's earlier post. It's such a similar shape to her sofa, but finished with a more modern edge.... soft white leather and nail-heads galore! I wish I had a spot (and the $) for this beauty.
