What an Odd Year...

....Happy New Year!!!

Has it been for you? My friends and I were discussing what an odd year it was over New Year's Eve night. You can't say it was fabulous or terrible, but I have such mix feelings. Yes, getting laid off wasn't glamorous, but I grew so much as a person over this past summer, that I wouldn't go back and change a thing.

Let's see... what happened for us.

1. Bought our FIRST house

2. Spent 5 crazy weeks remodeling before we moved in

3. Got laid off from work the week after we moved into our new house

4. Got a job at Anthropologie

5. Introduced 2 babies to our group of friends

6. Celebrated our first year of marriage

7. Celebrated my brother's wedding

8. My in-laws moved into a new house after spending 27 years in the same one

9. Received 2 job offers in the same day (6 months after I got laid off)

10. My father in-law was diagnosed with Leukemia, but is doing well... don't you worry ;)

11. Celebrated our first Christmas in our new house (Christmas is my favorite holiday!)

I think everyone is excited for 2010... a fresh start for the next decade. What about you?
