Working in 2010....

We're already hard at work at the Christensen household. We finally sat down and made a master TO DO list for 2010... it's amazing (and sad) how quickly the first sheet filled up.

We're working away on the black doors. I have taken some progress photos for the sake of documenting our remodel... please excuse the mess of the basement.

These are the doors to the hall closet. They are made of metal with wood veneer on the face. I have never seen doors like this before, but the cubbies (facing down) are perfect for odds and ends.

We originally hung plastic sheeting so we could spray the doors, but it ended up being to difficult since we have to do one door at a time. My friend came downstairs and commented on how it looked like "protective sheeting for the blood spatter on our 'victims' "... which makes sense because our basement is about as creepy as they come until we can get it finished.

First coat of primer..... tinted with black to avoid numerous coats of black paint.

We screwed long screws into the top and bottom of the door so we can flip it without messing up the paint (and you can paint all the sides in one sitting).

You guys look so professional! I know if my dad were going to try to paint doors, it would not be so organized. Can't wait to see the final outcome!
