Webster's Pictorials

I have always loved decorating with pages from books and old card sets.  They are easy to frame or display on a bedside table for fun reading when you have guests!  They are much more unique and personal than something you would buy from a 'big box store'.   I found all of these on Amazon....they are SO adorable!

and some bird notecards... great for a kids room!

Whewwwww!.... and IKEA!

O.M.Gosh... I have been having troubles uploading photos for the past few weeks, and I just now figured everything out.  Sorry for the lapse of posts!  In BIG news, IKEA FINALLY released some information regarding their new location in CO.  I am MORE than sure everyone has heard this news, but just incase you were watching 'Dancing with the Stars' instead of the news that evening, you can check out the article here.

They will be opening their doors fall of 2011 (not soon enough!) on the South side of Denver (basically between I-25 and East Dry County Road and East County Line Road).

A few items I've had on my radar.  I am heading to AZ this weekend and stopping in IKEA first thing... the unfortunate thing, I can't get these on the plane! :(

On a side note...I thought this post was funny regarding the IKEA build - out and why it's taking so long....

"They unpacked all the parts of the store, but are having trouble making sense of the instructions. Plus several connectors were missing." (random blog I found when googling 'Ikea-Denver')

Hilarious.... but true.

A Look At: Studio 80

Not only do I love Tracie Schumacher's design style, principal of Studio 80, but I love the way she works! Many things have been repurposed, reused, or reupholstered, and many others bought at your everyday stores!

I loved this house because it feels livable yet stylish, and actually obtainable for your everyday designer. It's amazing how some new fabric, paint, and lighting will change your existing space and furniture! Check out the whole article featured in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles.

Loving the Kitchen

I have been pulling together some inspirational photos for a client's kitchen, and I laughed when I was reviewing them.... notice anything?

That I have an obessesion with WHITE kitchens! My favorite is the first and last photo... the industrial lights, comfy chairs, glass cabinets, carrara marble, and the contrast of the dark floors. Swoon....
